Solidarity Shop
This Solidarity Shop brings together publications, visual works and materials born from the struggles, testimonies and collective organising of refugees and their comrades. At its centre is the Book of Shame, Refugees in Libya’s continuing record of the violence, exploitation and institutional complicity that shape the Central Mediterranean route. The book preserves testimonies, documents abuses and names the systems and actors responsible, ensuring that what refugees have endured cannot be buried beneath official narratives or political silence.
The shop also features C’è di mezzo il mare, a work confronting the sea not merely as a geographical border, but as a space marked by departure, separation, resistance, abandonment and death. Alongside these publications are drawings and artistic works by our comrade Yorgos, whose images give visual form to experiences that are often difficult to contain in words: detention, displacement, survival, memory and solidarity.
These works are not merchandise detached from our struggle. They are instruments of testimony, political education and collective memory. Every purchase supports refugee-led documentation, community protection, advocacy, strategic litigation and organising across borders, while helping these stories and images reach places from which refugees themselves are too often excluded.
