On 1 October 2021, people on the move in Libya came together in Tripoli for what became the 100 Days Protest outside UNHCR. Out of this mobilization grew Refugees in Libya (RiL), a movement founded by survivors of detention and border violence that continues to mobilise, document abuses, challenge impunity, and fight for freedom of movement.
Five years later, RiL, the Alliance with Refugees in Libya, and ECCHR invite migrant and diaspora communities and others interested in migration, human rights, social justice, border politics, and international accountability to an afternoon of commemor-action: looking back at five years of struggle while asking what can be built around a new opening for justice at the ICC.
